President Johnson with 4-H Representatives

In this photograph 4-H club member Betsey Clarke presents President Lyndon B. Johnson a gift on October 5, 1965 in the Oval Office. The gift was a personally engraved volume detailing the objectives and accomplishments of the over two million 4-H club members. The other 4-H club members present were Elizabeth Covington, Wayne Dabney, Billy Pat Porter, and James D.Siller. 4-H is a national youth development program with a special focus on agriculture, citizenship, healthy living, along with science, engineering and technology.
